PPC stands as an acronym for Pay Per Click. PPC advertisement is a very effective form of advertising where the advertisers only pay for visitors on the basis of “cost per click”.

Pay per click or PPC marketing is an Internet advertising tool used on search engines. PPC setup is very easy to understand as it involves a clear logic wherein which the advertisers pay their host only when their ad is clicked. Any industry has its relevant keywords for which people search for. Keywords are very important as people come looking for your relevant product and services on the basis of keywords. PPC web marketing is all about bidding on your keywords that are relevant to the keywords that people come searching for you. The term “Cost per click” (CPC) is a very important term in the context of Online PPC marketing; it is the amount of money the advertiser pays to the search engines (on whom the ad is displayed) for a single click bringing visitors to its website.

We popularly know PPC ads as sponsored links. It is very important to know that the payment term for sponsored links may or may not be based on a “cost per click” basis but PPC ads only follow a cost per click payment model. Usually, PPC ads are displayed at the top, right or the bottom of the Search Engine Result Page of a search engine, the PPC ads are displayed along with the organic rankings.

The working of PPC ads is quite simple; whenever a keyword query is inserted into a search engine, the page with the search results is displayed. Along with this page, there will be separate PPC ads displayed either on the top, side, or the bottom of the page if the keyword query matches an advertiser’s keyword. We know such advertisements as sponsored links or sponsored ads. There are many PPC providers existing out of which the majors are Google AdWords PPC, Yahoo! Search Marketing PPC, and Microsoft adCenter PPC all these three operate under a bid-based model for each keyword. Bid based model works on the lines that depending on the strength of a particular keyword, and its competition, its Cost per click (CPC) is determined. In such cases, the cost per click varies on the search engine and the level of competition for a particular keyword has.

With so much profit to offer PPC also comes with some negatives:

If not understood properly, PPC can be a difficult tool to master; in order to succeed PPC has to be used effectively. Your ad will never get good results if it isn’t interesting. The ads should provoke people to click on your ads. The landing page should be appropriate; people don’t want to waste time searching for the content they are looking for. Your ads should be placed at the right place and one of the toughest decisions is how much money should be bid on each ad. If your bid is too high, you stand the chances of losing money in the long run, but if your bid isn’t high enough, your ads won’t be visible and the benefits of PPC marketing will not be seen as your ads won’t be visible.

Thus it is will be a smart move to outsource your PPC process to an experienced PPC management company, which can analyze the marketing trends in your business, and it should have the ability to create a campaign at the right mix of price and location that will deliver great results. These results ultimately lead to more visitors and ultimately more sales. We as a responsible PPC marketing agency can do the work of making sure that you strike on the right keywords, have the correct banners that strike a chord, and bid in such a way that makes your ads visible yet making a hole in your valet. With our PPC marketing services, you always get that extra edge over your competitors as far as PPC marketing is concerned.

Advertise your Websites on Google

Google has an advertising system called Google Adwords, which allows you to advertise your web site under “Ad” or “Ads” on the 1st page of Google for the services or products you offer. You most likely have seen these ads. They are usually at the top or on the right-hand side of a Google search page.
The cost works on a PPC (Pay Per Click) system. So you only pay Google when someone clicks on your website advert and go into your website. We are Google Adwords Certified.

Google Adwords

Understanding Google Adwords

Here is how it works. For example, you sell computer screens in East Africa.
If a user searches for the keywords “computer screens in Tanzania” on Google, they will see on the first page of the results, both natural rankings and Ad links. Your Google Adwords advert will appear under Ads, like the one displayed on the right. The top 2 or 3 links are usually displayed in a pink/ cream block at the top and the other on the right hand side of the page and you can see the yellow “Ad” or “Ads” links

When the user clicks on your advert to go to your web site, then you pay for that click. The cost varies depending on the competition, how many other web sites in Tanzania and Kenya there are that also want to be displayed for those keywords on front page. The more competitors there are the more expensive it is, and Google sets the price to be on front page according to the competition and what they have decided to pay per click. Lets say, for example, that the cost per click for top position of front page is 4,000 Tsh, then what you decide you want to pay will determine where Google places you on the front page. So if you bid 3,000 Tsh you might be second from the top or if you bid 2,000 Tsh then you might be third.  However you are still advertising on the first page of Google. If however your ad is in position 5 at a 1000 Tsh cost, you can decide to spend more than your competitors per click to get either to position 1 or closer to it.

So what this means is that ultimately, you decide what you want to pay per click, but your bid also determines where you are displayed. If we use the example above and you decide to bid for only 1000 Tsh a click, your ad might only be displayed on the 2nd or 3rd page of Google. You can also choose in which countries your ads should be displayed, so in the example above you would only set it for any of these East African countries (Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda)

We make use of Google Adwords because it is very effective. And besides, getting people to click on your site also increases your web sites traffic and therefore ultimately its ranking on Google. We are managers for Google Adwords, so we optimize campaigns in a way that they are cost efficient and yet still displayed on page one of Google. If you are thinking, “what if someone is going to click on my ad all day long, it might cost me millions”, that’s not the way it works. You decide a daily budget before cut-off and Google has a system in place to prevent the same user from clicking on your ad all the time, so Google will only charge you once if the same person clicks on your ad more than one time.

How much does google AdWords, Pay per Click cost in Tanzania, East Africa?

We suggest that you give it a try. This is yet another service that we offer. Just decide on a budget that you would like to test as a trial and we will optimize and manage the campaign for you.

We do not charge a setup fee, only a 20% campaign management fee. So if you decide to spend 500,000 Tsh a month on Adwords, we will charge you 50,000 Tsh a month for setting up and managing your campaign.
